dark times ~walking in the air

Updated on October 30, 2009
Falling down where you lose what you are~i surrender
Falling down where you lose what you are~i surrender
Hold on to me when the pain strikes~ Don't leave my heart in pain
Hold on to me when the pain strikes~ Don't leave my heart in pain
hellooooo? can you hear my cries?
hellooooo? can you hear my cries?

My life has a unique mischievous plan of its own

It tests and pushes me yet I have to hold on

It serves me the boot with its sour hands by making me fail daily as a treat

It breaks my dreams shatters my defenses though I try to stand up on my feet

Out of pain my bones crack and on their own speak

As my cheeks linger with sour tears of dread as they leak

I have felt the bitterness of failure dig down my fragile screechy bones

Seen life through a shattered lens, I , aimless and choking with my moans

Blood runs deep up to life’s white-stained sleeves

Yet scars of life is the result as the Treacherous leaves

The fingers are tired of patching the broken strings

As the demons of failure silencing the last note as it sings

The shattered hope eventually runs to an end

As the demons of failure I am unable to fend

Crowned by foolishness and overrated honor and pride

My sins soak my skin, an abomination I can no more hide

“I am destined for greatness” I keep telling my kaput self

Yet I feel like a broken record worthless served on a shelf

I dream of different scenarios where I end up victorious

Yet my dreams are far from reality, murky so oblivious

Obviously I’ve failed to achieve my target in this joy-ride

For I have to live an eternity on a hide or on the other side

Still ashes of hope settle on the scared floor

Reminding me that I have to live more

The sun masked behind the clouds for now

Tries to break free from this broken cycle and row

Beyond the land of distress and pain

Like the thirsty soil that yearns for rain

My soul awaits to prove its uniqueness to the world

To the master yet to myself for I don’t live in a herd

I feel its willingness to push me up high

To leave the world of distress and fly by

I try to forget the pain and focus on the rising sun

“The world won’t wait for you, time is on a run

classes are do-able now! I am not as consumed with making all A's like I was before--my last year and I am not as stressed! So, I am gaming more 'Borderlands' came out--and I am consumed with it, trying new things with my writing and trying not to stay out in the sun too much--gamers fear the outside world =D

Don't we all :D ANyways school is pretty challenging but i think i like it this way though i know it is my senior year and it is gonna be tough since we have official exams. Ill try to hold on.
