Debbie Macomber | Feel Good Christmas Book List

Updated on April 26, 2013

Debbie Macomber Book List for Angel Series

In 1993, Debbie Macomber wrote her first book about the loving, silly and mischievous angels, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy. Since then, they have become icons associated with the Christmas season.

The series is now 7 strong and each year I re-read them in honor of the season. I laugh at their antics and cry with them as they learn about and help mere mortals with their prayer requests. These books have romance, humor and the feel good endings we crave in a Christmas story.

Debbie added to the series this past October (2012) with her newest book in the angel series: Angels at the Table: A Shirley, Goodness, and Mercy Christmas Story.

This is the Debbie Macomber book list of the Angel Series as well as some of her other Christmas story books. Get some for yourself or as gifts this holiday season. I know they will be enjoyed!

Feel Good Christmas Books

The Angel Series is at the Top of my List

These are the books in the Angel series. I own and have read all of them. I bring them out each year just after Thanksgiving and read them again, in order during the holiday season.

They make me feel good and remind me -- in our all to materialistic world -- what the season is truly about. Do you read the angel series each year too?

Mrs. Miracle for Christmas Reading

There are two books in the Mrs. Miracle series to date as well as a Hallmark movie channel movie and a DVD.

Seth needs a miracle this Christmas. A widower and father to two rambunctious twin boys, he has been through a mountain of housekeepers that keep quitting on him -- until Mrs. Miracle shows on his doorstep.

She brings him the help he needs in the fathering department and then attacks the love department. Excellent books for Christmas!

Mrs. Miracle - The First Book in the Series

Mrs. Miracle (Angels)
Mrs. Miracle (Angels)

This is a light-hearted and delightful series by Debbie Macomber. I was thrilled when my mom bought the book for me one Christmas.

Mrs. Miracle is everywhere! Especially during the Christmas season. She pops up where she's needed most and to ensure a child or children and the adults have a happy holiday season.

Call Me Mrs. Miracle - 2nd Book in the Series

After the first book in the series, of course, I had to add the second!

Toys, kids and Christmas -- Mrs. Miracle is at it again! They are really fun, addicting reads.

I watch certain holiday movies and re-read certain holiday books each year. Mrs. Miracle is on the list !

Doris Roberts is a natural for the quirky Mrs. Miracle. The movie is just as good as the book!

Debbie Macomber's book comes to life in this adaptation of "Mrs. Miracle". Doris Roberts is perfect as the kindly, wise and a bit scheming Mr.s Miracle.

I had never read the Cedar Cove series before but started with this Christmas book. I may have to go back and read the whole series now!

Lots of characters and many obstacles but the residents of Cedar Cove plan to have the best Christmas!

It's a cozy reading book I enjoyed while wrapped in a blanket and sipping my hot cocoa.

Much Loved used Debbie Macomber Books - Get one or more to read over the holiday season

People can't always keep all the books they buy and read. Space constraints mean they have to read and enjoy some books and then pass them along so someone new can enjoy them. Buying them second hand is a great way to save a bit on cost but still enjoy the stories.

Christmas kinda Person

Debbie Macomber describes herself as a "Christmas kinda person". She puts up 37 nativity scenes and 5 Christmas trees. No wonder she loves to write about Christmas!
