Ecstacy's Embrace

Updated on February 25, 2016

A bear hug.

An embrace squeezes you tighter and tighter.

A feeling of discomfort.

But you want it to never end.

But if it didn't it would not only injure,

But also lose every bit of its meaning.

Can I stop feeling so dizzy when you let me go?

Can you stop staring at me?

Can you handle when it is over?

Don't ever end.

Don't ever leave me.

Don't ever begin again.

Everything made it worth nothing.

      Love bug, bit,

      Asketh no other tonic.

Oh, Honey. You are in so much trouble. I have been where you are and can't turn away when a sister is on the brink. Advice from the view from the other side of this: never go back. Whatever broke you two up long ago will rear its ugly head again. Oh, it will be fun - right up to the point that its not. I'm not saying don't go down that road - but buyer beware. ( You said it so much more beautifully in your poem!)
