Tangible Pain Once More(There´s a hole in my soul)

Updated on November 13, 2012

Emotional Pain

There's a hole in my soul

Where my heart used to be.

My fugurative heart,

Where my love used to be.

...........

My physical heart keeps pumping the blood

My soul is so low, don't know why it does.

Why life keeps on going

as tears keep on flowing.

There's a hole in my soul

Where my heart used to be.

There's a pain in my chest

where my feelings belong,

emotions I used to help others along,

Now, helping another is foreign to me,

For there's a hole in my soul

where my heart used to be.

........................

There's a space in my days

where my life used to be

A void of confusion

where joy used to be.

...............

My breathing is heavy,

yet shallow and fast...

If I go on like this,

I'll soon breathe my last.

...................

I need to face facts

and set myself free

but there's a hole in my soul

where my heart used to be.

...............................

There's a man in my life,

who loves me, I know,

Yet he will insist

that we reap what we sow.

...........................

So, I've sown too much love??

Given out too much of me??

Now there's a hole in my soul

where my heart used to be???

............

Don't think so, my love,

the 'giving' was awesome,

I've just nowhere left

to give anymore from..

.........................

Time is a healer,

or so people say.

I'll wait, take it slow

till IĀ find my own way.

.......................

Maybe in time

my heart will come back,

and turn to my soul,

to fill up the gap.

.....................

It's not easy living

with a hole in your soul,

So repair and recover,

must now be my goal.

Nothing stays the same. I am priviledged to know you through hub pages and offer you a shoulder and listening and caring ear anytime.

Stepping minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, week by week, month by month...It was the only way I could make it when my life was dark. Hold on to truth.

    Psalm 126:5

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.

    God sees your tears Dim

    Be blessed today

Im sorry I was not here earlier. I know how it feels, that hole. I hope you are getting settled in your new house and soon it will be home, and you'll have your computer up.

Oh Dim - through all that beautiful verse, the pain drips through. It isn't always easy saying 'This too shall pass'. Hugs to you dear Dim - may the sun come shining through again soon - and fill that hole and that gap with light and love!

I am trying to make a friend happy today. To see you sad is not an easy thing to understand.I give you my heart so yours can heal.My heart works fine only it chimes on the hour.I forgot to tell you about the bells and whistles that blow when I get excited.Other than that it works fine.Oh I did I mention an occasional Beeping sound it makes when I am thinking.Which for me is all the time.So if you can get used to all the sounds there is one more I must tell you. When I sleep my heart makes a sizzling sound.Almost like bacon cooking. My heart will be sent by hub pages keep looking.I miss you...Talk soon.

All things in life come and go. Unfortunately for some, love is that way too. True love, however, never dies. Great poem, enjoyed it very much.

Dear Dim, I could have written some of this, not as pretty as you've done. I loved this. It's true. "All things must pass." Be at peace my Dear! Heaven is waiting just around the corner - inside (easy for me to say - and how would I know!?). Thank you Dim for a beautiful truth! God bless you.

Thank you so much. Yes I'm finding some things very difficult at the moment. I'm reminding myself of the lovely saying in India ....."This too shall pass..."

Getting a little time on hubpages is giving me a great big lift today. Soon I'll have my own computr at home again (new home) then I think I'll find things a bit easier. You are so kind. Take care.x
