Feed the comic book fan...

Updated on May 17, 2016
Source

...some comic book related internet RSS feeds!

They're tasty, yet non-fattening.

Comic Book Guy says, "BEST Feeds ever".

Well, no he doesn't, but Chimp with a Keyboard says, "Give these internet feeds a try if you have the slightest interest in the world of comic books".

Well, no he doesn't, he says, "Oook!", but he does type, "Give these internet feeds a - yada, yada - comic books".

Chimp with a Keyboard also speaks in the third person (OK, types in the third person. Jeeze, just try the RSS Feeds already!)

Comics Should Be Good

( Comic Book Resources )

Lots of comic bookish entertainment to be found here. Highlights include -

Comic Book Legends - The truth behind ancient rumours about the comic book industry.

The Line it is Drawn - Talented new artists rise to the regularly issued challenges, such as say; Draw a meeting between DC superheroes and Muppets and do it in the style of manga. Draw Marvel superheroes interacting with characters from Doctor Who.

Some of my favorite Line it is Drawn

Cyberspace Comics

Retro Comic Blog + eBay store selling old comics

A seller of old comics on eBay who writes a very good Retro Comics Blog.

Famous Fan-mail - Scan of letter and its answer from an old comics letter page. Blogger helpfully includes an explanation of who the "famous" person is in-case you don't know.

Connecting Covers - Sometimes comic covers combine to make an even larger image. Here's a look at some connecting covers

Comic Book Cover Swipes Exposed - Not every cover is 100% original, here's a comparison of covers that look suspiciously similar.

Guide to Marvel Comics Presents - Detailing everything about a single issue of this run

Guide to Marvel Two-In-One - Describes in great detail a single issue of the Thing & Guest of the month.

Comic Attack

Listing everything this feed covers, would double the length of this article. Picking what to highlight was hard, but here goes.

Wacky Comic Wednesday - Digs up some of the more offbeat, weird comic books and describes them in great detail. If it wasn't for this feature I would have never discovered the most epic superhero battle of all time. No, not, "Avengers Vs X-Men", I'm talking about, "Obnoxio The Clown Vs The X-Men".

Stay Tooned Sundays - Comic book inspired television. Covers live action shows as well as the cartoons the title suggests.

Ink Strains - Showcases fanzines from the 1960s, 70s and 80s showing the pre-professional work of artists such as John Byrne, Dave Cockrum, and other now well known names. Each article ends with a link to download a PDF of the fanzine in question.

The Comics Console - Video games inspired by comic books

Web Comic of the Month - Like me you probably already follow more web comics than you have time to actually read. Well prepare to add to that list. Web comic addiction is hard to fight isn't it?

Forget the Chimps lens read Comic Book Guys book instead - Jeff Albertson commands you!

Hank Azaria - Tells who, Professor Frink & Comic Book Guy are based on.

The Wisdom of Homer Simpson

Article closing interview with Chimp with a Keyboard

Me - "So, Homer any wisdom to impart, before I end this Hubpages article?"

Homer - "They have Internet on computers now!"

Me - "Ah yes, that's from Season 9, Episode 14, Das Bus."

Me (sotto voice) - "The other quote...you were supposed to say the 'Girly Edition' episode quote!"

Homer - "I'd like a monkey please."

Me - "Thank you Homer, that's sound advice indeed and I'm sure our readers at Hubpages will take it to heart."

Me - "OK, roll end credits or whatever on-line articles have."
