The Sky at Dusk
I love to wear purple, but when I do, I feel depressed. It's somber feeling is overwhelming. Its the color of winter. Historically, it is a royal color and I forget why. Has to do with the natural source of the dye available in olden days.
Roses can be purple, but not blue. Ever!
There are many variety of flowers that are purple.
I have a velvet dress that exact color.
I wear it to gallery art shows. Someday my own... if I ever stop keyboarding.
What a beautiful description of the color purple. Purple can be aptly described as an ambiguous color. It has a different symbolism to different people. Some see it as somber color while others see it as decadent. A few see it as dark without the mysterious and aura associated with the color black. It has been associated as the color of royalty.
