I personally don't keep a schedule of a certain amount of hours per day. Some days it is just an hour while others it can be over six hours. It depends on my deadlines, work load, and what projects I'm doing personally.
three hours per week in this hub,i write one article per week. maybe it is the value of hubpages.
I didn't set any time period for sitting for writing when ever i will free and got time i come here to write and read and i really like it to write or i can say this is one of my favorite hobby.
when working on a novel, its not about how much time i spend, its about meeting my word count for that day, which is generally around 2000.
doing this everyday, helps me to keep flow, and forces me to work through writers block.
also helps others in my life take my writing more seriously
I'd been thinking 8-10 hours everyday. I really love to work so I stay that long.
this is interesting, some work by word count for time in and some when time is there and others set some real time,
This shows us how working on line at home opens the work schedule beyond the normal 9-5 work day.
I think this flexibility makes for more productivity.
thanks guys, gave me more incite on working in the home and on ones own..
Anywhere from 6-10 hours a day usually, 5-6 days a week. If I have a number of projects going or a specific goal I'm trying to meet, I may work as much as 15-17 hours in a day, though I try not to make a habit of it because if I get too tired then I'm not certain I'd notice if the quality of my work went down. Obviously, writing is my full-time job . When I still had a "9-5" I generally wrote 1-2 hours per evening, and then went up to 3-5 hours when I was working on transitioning into writing full-time in order to get my article base better established before eliminating my outside paycheck.
I usually don't have an allotted period of time set aside for writing every day due to the busy, unpredictable toils of college life. But, when I have a lot of free time and I want to write something, I'll typically spend 1-2 hours writing.
There is no time limit, once you start and have a flow, it's best you continue. That is when everything flows out
It depends on what one is working on ,for me i use 30minutes to write draft on paper before entering it into the system.when in the office one can't say because you may not know the number of what to write on ones table for instance administrator, bank manager and accountant
I spend about 8 hours a day writing, since I work as a content writer. The down side is that by the end of the day, I have nothing left for working on stories or novel ideas (which is the stuff I'd like to get paid to do someday!)
It depends. I try to spend a few hours a day writing. However, there are days I spend much more than that and other days I spend less. Thats the amazing thing of being a writer, you can work as you need...I too have written novels and when doing that I force myself to write to a specific word count as well! However, there were times the inspiration did not flow therefore I would take a day or two to inspire myself...I would not want to write work that is forced and unworthy for my readers.

By a top-quality Hub, I mean one that is more than 1,000 words, contains original or carefully chosen photos from other sources, gets a Hubscore at least into the 80s if not the 90s and is Featured. It may or may not be an Editor's Choice. By hours, I mean research, writing, editing and promoting.

I've been loitering around the community news forum for the past few days looking for some interesting discussions, and the place is dead. So I've come to the conclusion everyone is over at Bubblews chitchatting there. I hear you have to put in a fair amount of time commenting and whatnot. So, I'm...
