    Hello Farah,
This was a refreshing read. I liked how you expressed the desire of a winter flower.
Winter season is difficult for many blossoms, and they need lot of care.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem.

I enjoyed your lovely poem, Farah. Sometimes our own wishes are like that of a winter flower. And you expressed them so vividly. Loved it. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Chitrangada, for sharing Farah's poem.

Thank you so much, dear Chitra di for sharing my poem. I have severe heat intolerance and Bangladesh has a hot climate throughout the year except for winter. It never snows in winter here and the cool climate is just perfect for me. I do bloom in winter. I look younger and refreshed. My make-up stays the way I put it instead of getting all runny. So I eagerly wait for winter every year. But that’s just what prompted me to write this one.
The poem here is symbolic of any person who is struggling to thrive in a harsh environment or a difficult moment. The blooming flower in winter is a fighter and a winner who dared to dream and make that dream come true amid all difficulties and is now in peace... A happy ending like it is in the fairy tales.

    Farah,
Your poem is a delight to read.
I love the flowers in Spring and you're desire to be like them is beautiful.

May each day be a blessing for you.  Your poem paints a delicate, yet beautiful picture of you and your desire to feel a fairytale in real life.

May all your dreams come true.

Thank you so much, dearest Brenda, for your lovely wishes and comments. I truly do wish for a fairy tale life at times but time seems to be running faster than I cope with it. Do you ever feel the same?
I wish a all the happiness in your life as well. Stay blessed always

Ron always told me I loved fairy-tales.
Sadly...time does go too quickly, but it's your life....make it the way you want.

A beautiful poem, Farah. I read the poem yesterday but didn't find a thread to comment. I got fascinated with the poem's theme and felt much moved by the struggles of that flower to survive in oddities.

Thank you, Chitra, for sharing the link to this poem.
