hallelujah (Dedicated to Manatita)

Updated on May 21, 2016

I think in silence,
where am i, what am i since ?
Is it because,
what I was, thence.?
so will i get another chance?

Oh! No,
Am i still living in past tense.?

Oh! Yes.
I have found acceptance in my consciousness.
I've overcome my grievance,

oh! yea. Its hallelujah.

(Inspired by Manatita's poem).

Living in the past is a major reason for our misery. Acceptance and living in the present is the key to happiness. Lovely lines!

      Thanks missy for your comments.

      Anyone can get solace,

      When one is at peace,

      with I, me, myself.

Acceptance, I believe, is everyone's journey, and it takes time to get there. Some of us find it earlier than others, and I, in the past, used to be envious of those. I seem to be one who has taken many years to find myself, but like you say hallelujah, because I think, I know and accept exactly who I am now. Simple, but well expressed.
