i often wonder

Updated on October 20, 2009

 OFTEN…

I often wonder

If someone will come

and build a castle

of love,

in my heart.

I often ask myself

If someone might be able to

Break that hard shell of sorrows

That people have built

Around my soft heart

My heart,

My soft heart

That was once as soft as ice-cream

Has now turned into

A hard reflecting rock

Seeing through it

Your feelings are reflected,

Back to you

its a hard rock,

Where you can hear

The echo of your own emotions

The good, the good,

The good, the ugly

What ever you feel for me,

Some I fell for you,

I often wonder….

If someone would some,

Enter my life,

My heart,

And change it,

From that hard reflecting rock

To that scoop of ice-cream

Which can absorb

The warmth

That can reflect,

The coldness of grieves,

I often wonder….

Good poem. Now you quit that wondering and go get a big scoop of love on your own. Don't settle for the first one either, taste them all, then decide. But remember, a man will give a little time to a woman with a little love. A woman will love him and give all. We have wanderlust you know? Just cain't help our selves, that why god gave us women. To kind of rein us in a little bit.
