I have sweetly taken you from the ground that I stepped on.

I see colors of purple and red all over you.

You emit your dried fragrance.

Your dried fragrance is on the ground.

I know your fragrance is not that great now.

I waited the long days back to smell you.

I cannot resist putting you on a dried leaf in the corner of the flowerbed.

I see that you and the dried leaf are lonely like me.

I hope I did the right thing by putting you and the dried leaf together as imaginary friends.

It nurtures my heart to see both of you together.

I will walk away.

I hope dear rose that you hold onto the dried leaf until other changes fade you away.

I look at your life as a dried rose on a leaf that was not alone to fade away.

This one is really a wonderful gem and how beautifully you transformed the rose and leaf as persons. You weaved a beautiful tale but there is a scintilla of sadness in it. Voted up.

You sound like a very sentimental person.

      Hi, my dear friend dghbrh,

Thank you for calling my poem great.

I wanted to keep my poem simple but with deeper meaning of friendship.

I guess the meaning was mostly imaginary.

I am happy that you loved the lines of my poem.

I hope you have a great and wonderful day ahead of you too :)

I send you my best wishes to help you through your day in bliss.
