I'm Lost - An Original Poem By Christopher Dapo

Updated on February 10, 2012

I think I know I'm lost

I'm last to hear the news

I know I'm at a loss

To doubt that I could lose

The thought is such a jost

Like putting on the neuse

A rock that's bearing moss

Or a cup without the juice

So now I sit and pause

To take a sip of booze

Searching for a cause

Other than this muse

Funny as this was

I tried to leave it loose

Don't look for a 'because'

I'm not your Mother Goose

Toodles, I'ma go eat some noodles! :D

A great fun poem. Nonsense makes great sense in a world where we seem to often take ourselves too seriously.

      masmasika -

I appreciate the compliment. Seriously though, you are easily capable yourself, I can hear it in your writing. May you take the time and see it for yourself, you could just as well write your own, something exciting! ;)

Don't doubt yourself...I believe in you.

Yet another silly thing I just decided to come up and out with, I figure it sums up the silliness just fine! I'm glad to see it brought out the silly, good old times in you as well! :D

Thanks for the comment and I'm glad it brought a smile to you, too!

That was a Dapper, sorry Dapo poem, unique, a bit nutty, but right up my alley. Bravo!

      Thanks, Rosemay50.

I think we all have a way of losing our way and, just as well, each of us have our own way of finding our way back.

      ;)
