Just Say Something!

Updated on October 13, 2015

Crying at 3 am
Reading our chat again
That's all i seem to do
Unable to forget about you
It hurt me a lot when you thought
That all i thought about was me
When in reality
All i sought
Was you and how i love you intensely
I wish you could read this and understand my deep sea
But you have nothing than a simple greeting to say to me
After all that i have done and said ,
You throw this love in my face and make me feel dead
Because you make me feel like you have moved on
Just say something before i am gone!
I can't escape you but if don't want me to stay
Then I'll have to try to leave
Because the last thing on earth would be to hurt you and to feel unease

@MsDora here the meaning, MsDora, is not to seek permission or to be left without choice. On the contrary, there is a choice, but the choice here is two. One to stay because the person in deep love wants to, and the other is to not hurt the teaser . "I'll have to try to leave" is infact a choice, if staying only hurts the teaser. But the reason why it seemed forced and hard as if there is no choice, is because of the intense love and the inability to even think of being away from the lover. Here the choice is something she does not want which is hurt the lover by staying, opposite to the first choice she wants which is to be with the lover.

The intensity of love comes through perfectly. Effective expressions.

One sentiment disturbs me, though: " if [you] don't want me to stay then I'll have to try to leave." The choice to stay or go lies with the person in conflict, not in permission from the teaser. Always keep the control. This does not take away from the quality of your poem.

Should I stay or should I go now? Love Love Love. A deeply felt look at the dilemma!
