My Love; Enigma (a poem for my husband)

Updated on June 12, 2012

One world

Two people;

One heartthrob;

Two places apart;

West versus East;
One world;

Two lives;

One destiny;

You are there, I am here;

We're really not apart;

Special memories keep you in my heart.

Memories

Memories;

Does the sun forget to come out in summer?

Can six billion people dry the ocean?

Has death banished the Love of Romeo and Juliet?

Are dreams in the depths of your sleep in the stillness of the night non-existent because you don't recall them?

Can I forget your smile?

Your lips;

Your kisses;

The love we share?

Enigma...of you!

Bring back...My Love

Enigma...

Enigma of You and things you've left behind;

Brings back...

Bring back the time!

Bring You back to my side!

To my side;

Where you belong;

My Love.

      Thank you PDXKaraokeGuy for dropping by and for reading my poem. It is actually dedicated to my husband who is so far away from me...but this also applies to anyone whose love ones are in a distant place.
