Can you give a Kindle Book as a Gift? Yes you can! At last, there's a way of personally selecting a Kindle ebook to give as a gift. This is much nicer than just giving an impersonal gift card. For Kindle Books there's now an option to:
Technically, you don't actually give the book itself. What you do is you a gift certificate with your gift recommendation. This way the recipient knows that you thought about them and carefully selected a gift they would like - they simply accept the book and it gets transferred to their Kindle (or iPhone or other compatible device).
A Kindle book makes a brilliant last minute gift that is personal and shows that thought has gone into it.
This works brilliantly and Amazon have got it up and running in time for Christmas. Hoorah. Now I can get Kindle books for Christmas :-) Read on to find out how it works.

The recipient clicks on the 'Get Your Kindle Book Gift Now' button and logs in to Amazon where they will be able to accept the gift and send it to their Kindle (or iPhone or other compatible device).
The book gets sent wirelessly to the recipient's Kindle. And there you go, one very happy person!
(They don't actually have to accept the gift you chose - they can exchange it for an Amazon gift card. But we're sure you'll choose just the right book and that won't be necessary.)
