leave a peace

Updated on July 4, 2012

we fuss

we fight

things never seem right

when does it all end?

leave my life

for you are a foe

not a friend

acts of stupidity

i accept the blame

ready to move on

willing to accept change

there is power beyond

you and i

the world continues to spin

we are merely small fries

my mind is clear now

like a soothing summer wind

you feel with your head

never your heart

you feel with your eyes

always from the start

through and through

good and bad

i would erase my memory of you

could have, would have, had

now i think of you

as part of the past

a figment, a glitch

a phase in which i passed

it was a struggle

but i concluded this chapter

finally, at last.

People will push and push till finally you can't take no more, then leaving is the only option left.
