Leigh Michaels was born and raised in Iowa. She received a journalism degree and worked in that profession before publishing her first romance novel in the 1980's.       I read about 400 romance novels, including many of these, back in the 1980s to improve my reading speed; at the suggestion of my wife. It worked. Increased ability to speed-read about 400%. Got here because Leigh was born in Iowa, which I already knew, but thanks, anyway, for a fun lens! ;-)
