Let There Be Light - Poems for Light

With this lens, I hope to brighten the dark days of winter through my original poems about the light as well as enlightening the mind via particular poems of enlightenment.

Let There Be Light

The Short Days of Winter

The short days of winter

Plus holiday expectations

Conspire to hinder

Our happy elations

Light Up the Winter Night

Light up the winter night

With candles and cheer

Do what gives you delight

Hug those you hold dear

The darkness will give way

To a light deep within

If you do a little each day

With a positive spin

Are You Less Happy During the Winter?

Are you often unhappy during the dark days of winter?

See results

Let There Be a Light Shining

Let there be a light shining

Into the farthest reaches

Illuminating and refining

A troubled world beseeches

Let Light Into the Mind

Let light into the mind

And you awaken the soul

Put the darkness behind

And climb up from the hole

Let Light Into the Mind

And You Awaken the Soul

Thank you for Coming - Spread the Light
