In case you missed the title of this Catholic devotional, it is titled “Living Faith”. A powerful reminder to readers that we are called to live our Catholic faith in our daily lives by what we do, say, think, listen to, watch and read.

Also of significant note is that each Living Faith devotional (Daily or Lenten) is based on the Holy Mass. This is extremely appropriate since, the Church describes Holy Mass as a "...liturgy in which the mystery of salvation is accomplished" and which "...concludes with the sending forth (missio) of the faithful, so that they may fulfil God's will in their daily lives" (Catechism of the Catholic Church).

Each day the reader is reminded of which Saint’s feast day is being celebrated and provided with the Mass readings for that day as well as a daily reflection which is usually done by a religious or lay person (i.e. an everyday Catholic like you or me).

As usual, there is always a reading from the Old Testament, the Psalms and the New Testament.

I also find this aspect of including reflections by lay persons (everyday Catholics) very uplifting and reassuring, since I don’t feel ‘preached at’ in these reflections which often contain stories that we can all relate to in our everyday lives from other everyday Christians like myself who are striving to live good Christian lives. So we sometimes hear from them about their less than perfect efforts at being good Christians also.

This devotional is also available for all of your digital devices – android phones, blackberry, windows phones, kindle, nook, ipad, iphone, etc. and can be purchased through the ibookstore – so you can take it with you anywhere for easy reading. Yes, Living Faith is technology savvy!

Another beautiful thing about this Catholic devotional is that there is a children’s version titled, “Living Faith Kids, which is larger, includes full-colour pages with original art, catholic prayers and devotions and is targeted towards children aged 8 to 12 years old.

Living Faith is a great daily supplement in your spiritual journey and a great gift for someone special in your life.

For bulk orders, such as for Parish, bookstore, prayer group or school, you can visit Living Faith.

I am not Catholic, but members of my family are. I respect them and their beliefs. You've done a beautiful job on this Hub, thanks for sharing.

@GrammieOlivia: Thanks, grammieo, for blessing us with that inspirational reminder from Corinthians of how much God wants to bless us. Have a blessed weekend.

From the letter to the Corinthians:Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as dawned on man what God has prepared for those who love him.
