Lost Love Letters

Updated on May 5, 2012

To My Darling,

I have missed you deeply

from the depths of my core

you don't end your letters

with I Love You.... no more.

My heart longs for... your words

and your soft touch

sometimes the yearning....

just hurts so much

I love you, my Flower....

Am I still your Sun ?

no love... no letters....

this isn't much fun

My garden has gone lifeless....

so sad and dark blue

it doesn't have my..Tender Flower

for me to look to.....

" Goodbye and Good Luck "

the words sound so far apart

I guess my Flower...has retreated

very deep....back into her heart

She has set me free...

to fly alone and go

wherever.... the Lonely wind

should decide to blow

Again no love?

this is starting too trend

Why is this happening

when will it end?

I feel like a eagle

who has lost his mate

flying all alone ... is it to late?

Love you Always

Michael

Very lyrical.Did you want to say:you don't love me no more..

grammatically it would be "any more" but I sometimes us the wrong grammar on purpose.I like the poem.

Parting is such sweet sorrow... very touching. It leaves you with a hope that it will be amended. Thanks for sharing.

Michael, this is one of the best your poems I've read so far. Though it's sad and heartbroken - it is very beautiful, flow of the words is so sincere and honest and created with such deep love, astonishing!

I can't say which I like more your words or your pictures! A lone eagle is a beautiful and sad sight to see. As always I hope this is written from memory and not an ache you are feeling now. Voted up and beautiful.

Michael My friend! I cried reading as you would have writing this poem... if not with your eyes.. then with your soul...

I mourn with you my friend... for the pain here is heartfelt, the heart itself becomes morose reading your painfully beautiful lines

      Love and Luck

You express your pain and loss here very well and I feel it in your words but an eagle flying alone is still a majestic sight and his aloneness neither diminishes his dignity nor his greatness among his peers.
