Can the abstract be touched

Updated on November 8, 2012

is pain only physical

beautiful but prickly.
beautiful but prickly.

Sorrow is tangible

Cuts like a knife

An icy hand grasping your heart

Dragging you down to despair.

Despair can kill you

Don't let it happen.

Melt that ice of your tangible sorrow

Turning your face to the light......

Look up to the sunlight

See the blue skyline

No, It's not easy, grief can be heavy

Weighing you down like iron

But love is more powerful,

Love lifts you up.

Love also is tangible when it is strong

Stronger than iron or steel.

Nothing compares to the power of love

You can soar like an eagle again.

Yes sorrow is tangible

But SO IS LOVE

Hold tight !

Look up !

Love conquers all...............

Love never fails......

That's very nice and positive thoughts... Reminds me of Bette Midler's - "Did you ever know that you're my hero,

and everything I would like to be?

I can fly higher than an eagle,

for you are the wind beneath my wings."

Thanks for reading my tiny effort to express how I felt recently. Anyone who reads Chaucer has my admiration. Thanks Tony
