Lucky You, Lucky Me

Updated on March 16, 2012

Luck of the Draw

Lucky you, Lucky Me,

how does luck choose

where to be

does it pick

it's will for free...

is it alive or something

that we really don't see...

When we met

the love was lucky me

then I found out the love

was shared by us three

You and him

and dumb little me

When i met you

the love was lucky you

you made me think

the love was true

how did I know

you would make me blue.

Sometimes love has two sides

it can make you happy

or make you cry

just like luck

is good and bad

when love depends on luck

it can make you sad

Nicely written and it flows well. It brings to the forefront of readers their personal experiences, so you do a great job in bringing your words together to pronounce such effects. Thank you much.

I think you have highlighted what not to trust in a relationship. Luck is not a basis for true love. Great poem.

So lovely, but so sad. I don't really believe in luck, I think God has a hand in it somewhere, but it's a great poem. Voted up.

Nice poem but so sad. I'd rather trust in fate than luck :)

Michael, what a sad poem..but love comes in many forms, sometimes there can be more between 2 people living apart than 2 people living together for many years. Voted up and awesome.
