Make Any Cents - An Original Poem by Christopher Dapo
Money, funny, ca-ching
Care to hear the change sing?
Silver and gold for everything
Trinkets go with the dough you bring
Let in a laugh and out a holler
Pay them bills with every dollar
Raise the rents in due nonsense
Five-ing and dime-ing cashing in your cents
Where did all the money go?
What went wrong with the cash-flow?
If you've seen it tell me if you know
'Fore I go robbing, bobbing for dinero
Be forgettive, your account's on the brink
In the negative soon it will sink
Suddenly you're jumping at every coin
Trying to stand from being kicked in the groin
Now tie that neuse, that pocket's feeling loose
The hole's been burnt and now you're feeling hurt
There's no masseuse to rescue you from that caboose
Learned all you learnt and now your home is in the dirt.
