months of rollercoaster love

Updated on February 27, 2010

August 8, 2004

roller coaster love ( l.)

in month one, the best guy in the world

during month two, i was still yet a girl

month three, we disagree

here comes the fourth, still not getting along

during month five, we're struggling to survive

we did pretty good in the sixth month

month seven was unfortunately the opposite of heaven

number eight was mostly pretty straight

in the ninth, things got better...  i wrote you letters

the tenth one was fine, quite divine

number eleven was quite similar to seven

yet, sadly the twelfth has started by gloomier days

what can i say

untitled ( ll. )

i opened my heart

opened it wide

all i got in return

was getting tried

you bring up the past

throw it in my face

any signs of remorse?

not a trace

over this past year

i've changed my entire life

yet somehow lately

i feel as if a part of me has died

I liked this poem too. Love can be like a ride on the roller coaster. Ups and downs, but if it's true, well worth it don't you think?
