moon made mood

i can't, i won't,
close my lids.

making me stare the curve,
you've got me singing with verve.

got me down, to my knees.
now lift me up, with cool breeze.

moon on crescent,
thou reflect my mood.

The music complements the words of this thoughtful, lovely poem so well.

      Ruby, thanks for appreciation.

Moon has always been my favorite as a child and as a father of a child. Being visible and a source of wonder for generation past, present and future it never will surpass any exploration of universe (within or without)

      Pyare Hari Bahai,

      What a delight!

‘…got me down, to my knees.

now lift me up, with cool breeze…’

You really know how to craft words gracefully, meaningfully and artistically. Very beautiful poetry – precise and concise, and yet delight to our eyes.

I love this song. Shekhar Suman and Rekha… what a rare meeting of both in Hindi Cinema. We had great Hindi song-writers and singers as well. Oh! how much we owe our Mother India. Thank you for sharing.

      Hats off, bhaiya! Hats off!

Manatita, This singer is suresh wadekar, another legend with smoothest sweetest voice during 80s.

Yes, Bro. I really loved the song. Only Lata and Aisha, Mohammed Rafi and a few more, can use such immortal words.

Nice...like the moon. What do they call a person who's infatuated with the moon? A lunatic.
