Mothers request

Updated on June 1, 2016

(Inspired by poem from K.S. Narsimhaswamy, kannada poet & the video song of Movie Amar Prem)

The entry to the world is murky,
the exit will sure be muddy,

o my dear ! eye candy,
for you my eyes are, a boundary,
of love 'n' care, motherly.

sunny, will you be here,
or, leave this boundary forever,
now that i'm grey haired ?

Audio: poetry from K.S.Narasimhaswamy

Interesting poem, Hari Bhaiya. Kannada poets are great inspiration, I think. Good job!

Hari ji v well written. Even if the doors of the boundaries r closed mothers shower their blessings n love to their candies at every step of life. Its bcoz of this affection that we all get the strength to face the storms of life n move on.

      Hari, beautiful.

A mother's love is where it all begins

      From the teaching

      To avoid all sin

So we can live and love until the end

      Blessings Hari

I think Manatita is right. I feel this is a poem about a temporary existence. Being a mother myself, I identify with a mother's love toward her children and what it feels like getting older, closer to the end. Nice poem.

Interesting one. All is temporary; ephemeral. Perhaps this is the message. Hari Om!
