NO 1 - My Wealth Building Books

THINK AND GROW RICH BY NAPOLEON HILL

AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC. A MUST READ BEFORE YOU DIE BOOK.

The picture is a quote from the book.

Napoleon Hill was born in 1883 and had a very humble start in life - a one room shack! He became a reporter which prepared the ground for what was to lie ahead.

He had the opportunity to interview Andrew Carnegie and as they say the rest is history. He became employed by Andrew Carnegie. His task interview five hundred millionaires to understand there success and write about it in a way that anyone could understand.

It took him approx. 20 years to compile Think and Grow Rich. Many have read and re-read this book and find more gems every time.

Some of the people he interviewed included John D Rockefeller, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, George Eastman and F Woolworth.

Here are the money-making secrets that can change your life.

This is one of those books you must read, if you are into self development. It is one of the foundation stones upon which to build success.

The premise of the book is simple, by thinking and creating ideas, you can build wealth, as everything you buy etc has once been an idea in someone's mind.

"This book will show you by using real life examples of how to use your mind to the greatest effect possible, to create wealth. The treatise is split into 17 Rules. These 17 Rules are tried and tested so that when they are put together they form a system. By using the system you too can create wealth." C.C.

"This is the definitive book that set the stage for all personal development and positive thinking books. Dont start anywhere else, but here!"

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T Kiyosaki

This book is a New York Times best seller.

The book revolves around the two characters of his father being the Poor dad and his Friends Father as the Rich Dad. It was his rich dad he sought to emulate not his father who had a good 9-5 job. The story telling by Kiyosaki that makes the book memorable.

This is the book that sparked a range of books all around the Rich Dad Poor Dad theme, this includes a cash flow game that has people all over the globe playing.

This book will help you understand assets and liabilities.

'RICH DAD, POOR DAD is a starting point for anyone looking to gain control of their financial future' USA TODAY

this book was a real eye opener and a must for any body wanting financial freedom.

"I got so much from it a am now going to read all the others in the series. " Louise

NO 3 My Wealth Building Books

Secrets of a Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker

" Your income can only grow to the extent you do" In this and others of my top ten wealth creation books this quote applies. The inner game is a key to wealth and the mind is where the game is played. As with the previous book the writers pen to paper has resulted in many spin off's. In T Harv Eker case a very successful seminar and training business, people from all over the world attend these. More about this elsewhere on a lense.

"One theme that came through for me is basically to watch your language and stop whingeing! It strongly advocates talking in positive terms as much as possible. Full of very uplifting and a study in the way that most successful entrepreneurs think, feel and operate on a daily basis. I think what it's saying is "what you focus on, you get more of" just make sure you get conscious about what you're thinking about. Or else! " W. D-Q

As well as the book I bought the Millionaire Mind cards- I can highly recommend these to get the brain in the right gear. Focus on one a day.

How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be by Jack Cranfield

A long title but it does give the idea that you have to move forward to achieve anything. Doing the same thing over and over again is never progress. Within this book 25 success principles are laid out.

One of the key things for me is being 100% responsible for my life. Blaming others , complaining does not work. Society is ridden with blaming others. If that's you you need this book, it will act as a wake up call. You chose the job, where you live , who you married etc etc. If you don't like it You are responsible to change not someone else. You determine Your success - no one else. The buck stops with You and me for our own destiny. Decide what you want and make it happen.

This book has a great book list in the rear, but these 25 success principles hit "the nail on the head".

" Canfield's principles are simple, but the results you'll achieve will be extraordinary" Anthony Robbins

`Illuminating, easy-to-read and highly effective.' K.B

How Come That Idiot's Rich & I'm Not? by Robert Shemin

Rich Idiots never think or say say "I can't". They ask " How can I?"

Robert Shemin is another person who has read many biographies and taken lessons from them. There is a bit of a trait going on here. Napoleon Hill, Andy Andrews also learnt form others life stories. Whose books are you reading? In this book Robert shares that rich people are not that smart.

Here, you'll learn how to:

Set only one powerful success goal-and make it a big one

Play while your money goes to work

Stop building someone else's business and start building your own

Live and think like a millionaire while you're becoming one

Use the power and "smarts" of other Rich Idiots to help you join the Rich Idiot Club

Add OPI (other people's ideas), OPT (other people's time), and OPE (other people's experience) to do less and make more

Tap into timeless secrets that unlock the energy and spiritual power of money

Don't be a RUB - Right side up and broke!

"If you've spent your life doing 'all the right things' but still feel like you're running in place financially, do yourself a favor and buy this book."

-T. Harv Eker

"A breath of fresh air…Robert Shemin brings to this book a powerful personal story that commands attention. He was the class cut-up, the guy who never fit in exactly, an undiagnosed dyslexic who out of survival instinct simply decided to make up his own rules - and, sure enough, riches followed.'

I have read some of these books like Rich Dad, Harv Eker and Napolen Hill but am not familiar with the others listed here. I will surely get those when I get to a place where I can dowload in my Kindle. Can't even order form Amazon from where I am as the shipping will cost way more than the book.
