Now I lay me down to sleep

Updated on April 6, 2013

Now I lay me down to sleep

Now I lay me down to sleep,

And while on the inside my soul may weep,

at least I won't cry myself to sleep,

out of me you won't hear a peep,

For the use of words I can no longer speak,

For to care about someone or something is futile,

When pleasant words are returned by utter denial,

So wrapped in this blanket where I lay,

My hands together while I pray,

Two words are all I shall say,

New Day, New Day,

hopefully when it arrives,

It stops my body and soul from this

Slow Decay...

If I Could Dream

If I could dream,

While being awake,

Then this ache,

In my chest,

Would subside such,

As a quake,

Would as it forms under a lake,

Where no one would see,

How frightening it can be,

To actually be awake,

While everyone around you is fake ,

All they do to you is take take take,

So much your emotions won't even begin to make,

So I guess I'll lay back in bed,

While my soul watches over me,

And protects my precious little head,

And also the good dreams that I require,

So it doesn't feel like im dead and forever long retire..
