Nothing To Say - A Poem By S

There is no Romeo and Juliet

Only the mistakes I made that I've lived to regret

A life, that like a living nightmare, isn't over yet

There is no Romeo and Juliet

All my dreams, such silly things, have gone down the tubes

No one believed but me

I watched all my life as everyone turned away

Leaving me alone with nothing to do or say

My love life has gone the same way

I make my mistakes and, for them, just like my dreams, I always pay

I guess when I was young, I always knew I'd be under the gun

And now my fun in the sun time is done

The race having been run

It seems no one ever won

At all the stupid little trivial hateful games they play

And I can't stand such mean little minds

So I sit on the sidelines

They'll pay for what they play

And I've got nothing else to say.

Thank you, BlossomSB, it's always a joy to have a friend on here. I rarely get to the computer but when I do I enjoy hearing from and responding to my friends here on HubPages.

Thank you for checking out my poem, Mhatter99. Sometimes when I write my poems I never know where they're gonna go. I'm glad I could offer the insight.

Your title intrigued me, I just had to read it. You actually did have something to say and you said it well.
