one more tear of blood

Updated on June 22, 2011

one more tear

of blood for you

spewed into the infinite

fire of truth

wandering forth, my soul begs the name

of the one who has left my warm space

cold and frozen, once again

under certain new storms, always a struggle

when the mouth that bites the hand

is impossible to muzzle

another day gone, and the night to be thick

this feeling that churns within

enough to make me sick

it greater than glory and bigger than me

that the last piece of the puzzle

somehow got free

under a couch somewhere, who knows...cant see

and the flashlight is fritzing

damn battery.....

its the music that moves me, sweet songs in the wind

and the checkers that choke me

to enlightened to win

buried in carpet, and soothed by the tick

of a restless clock tocking

cutting too close to the quick.

agony's rescue, sheer chivalry

and marked by the anger

of someone who's not me.

dart to the board... no ones tortured just yet

unless your one who gets goosed

by the tongue of regret

licking the boundary, of whats soon to be fire

and to make my leave sooner, its my only desire

fired and fueled, what else could it be

when the one whose involved

somewhat reminiscent of me

and if anyone wonders

whats to become

of this moon sailors heart

i assure you

its glum

but for those with hopeful heart

take care as you step

into this darkened forest

it can be quite a mess

akin to a closet

holding regrets, needs, and familiars

only mines got ruby slippers

cause i love how they shimmer

glittered and dancing

sweet swing in the dark

beautiful and alone

not unlike my heart

so swing sweet symphony

hung on a hook

if there's more that you want

re-read what you've took

you'll find my book better

if you sleep it to dream

love letters like lashes

ripped at the seam

nightingales howling

while wolf whistles sweet...

knees down and dirty

and slowly i creep.

backhand to meadow

and sighs to the air

don't ask me why cause you're already there

sink to my shadow

and ill show you the thread

of the binding that glues me

when i lay me to bed.

good night and a whisper

that barely you hear

when blood moves from iris

in the form of a tear.

tap tap stepping lightly

softly i tread

as on roads followed blindly

ill take mine instead

back to the forest

at last

bit of peace

breath held sure to burst

for whats waiting for me.

Up awesome and very beautiful. Love the painful passion in your words so much more than divine.

      "Helpless heart in Hell"

I have no name to give,

      names mean nothing.

      My heart once broken,

now I have no heart at all.

      Dying to live in silence,

      screams fill my ears.

      Light so dark I'm blind,

      to see you standing there.

Want my name I have none,

      soul forsaken I'm saved.

      Blood from eyes without tears,

      crying without a heart.

You say my name means something,

yet you speak my name without words.

Holding me close to be apart,

      in a life without direction.

What you see before you is nothing,

my life so empty and cruel.

The image of tears pouring from me,

is just your reflection in my eyes.

Wanting to feel more than this,

forgotten to say is your soul.

      Nonetheless is your passion,

      futile existence in vain.

      Fears fading forgiveness,

      light losing estranged.

      Destiny dying demise,

      heart helpless denied.

Very powerful and vicious. The un-forced rhymes don't hurt either!

Doug turner jr- good thing im not writing just for you then, huh? :)

Nikki- i am certain now that you love words just as much as i do. i love mizing them up and putting them where they arent supposed to be. i love reinventing them, and toying with their meanings. :) your comments inspire me to find more and more ways to bend and break words. i love that about them. :)

Awesome line. Its like you are coming undone. vulnerable yet strong and ready for whats to come.

Really strong imagery and I like your flow. This would have been more effective for me if it were shorter, though.
