Bottled up Inside

Updated on September 21, 2013

how can I

keep this feelings

left bottled up

inside

my heart tries to heal itself and

salty tears carve lines into my face

like niagra falls

i'm losing my former style and grace!

what possessed us both

why does it stil hurt

moving on is hard

I know that's the reason

and it's not fun for me

if you still suffer, like I do

won't you tell me?

I've just a phone call away

And I'd love you to call to say

"I love you."

The pain is well expressed. Sometimes it's so hard to move on but we must to continue living.

Hey Mhatter, nice to see you, thanks for the compliment. :)

      Thank you, ChitrangadaSharan, I'm honored!

Thank you D. J. I quite agree and I appreciate those words of comfort! Hugs to you

tati134, thank you very much, I do appreciate your kindness and moral support!

      Hey D.J.

That is true! Lol! I don't have a problem showing people poems though, I have shown many to many people. that's the Capricorn and Dragon in me. I respect honesty :) And I don't mind showing my feelings- usually.

:) As for the person not knowing? Hmmm I assumed they read my work but maybe I'm completely wrong and assuming which makes an ass out of me! I never thought of sharing but perhaps that's a good idea? Take care. Rose.

ps. yes it is def therapy!

agreed!!! that's my whole reason for writing.

Isn't it amazing that we feel comfortable enough to pour our hearts out

to our HP friends. I, too, have written poems that had heart ache and

pain. Things that I could not show to another person.

I think the anonymity helps. There is no chance of the feeling being

shared with someone we would not want to know. It is like talking

to a therapist who does not have a watch. Ain't it great!!

Your pain is showing in every word that you write.

Let the power of nature comfort your mind.

Let the power of the Almighty comfort your heart.

      DJ.
