Poem : How Can I Forget You

Updated on November 9, 2019

There is always one person in our life , no matter how happy or sad we are that will always stay in our mind with us .

The reason behind writting this poem is that we should never think that we are alone fighting , everyone has their bad days but instead just forget them and live the present.... Always think positive... Have a good time...

how can i forget you,

as i still remember the day i first saw you,

the fragnance that you had,

and so the taste of you,

the sweet love of you,

which made me glow..

how can i forget you,

the red crystal moon up there in the sky,

and the long conversation we had while sitting near the window,

all reminds me of you,

the only feed of my love is you.

i really want to forget you,

but I'm not that strong enough to walk all alone,

soon my heart will get used to it,

and i will re joy all once again

the way I used too....

how can i forget,

the past we had together,

i will soon forget this pain of being in love,

i want to hate you,

but i could not do so...

how can i forget you,

the touch of you that im addicted,

i want to forget you,

but how? I'm still in love with you ,

hopefully i'll live without you ,

stand all again with a clear mind..

oh lord i dont know what to do,

guide me to the escape plan,

i want to forget him ,

God help me find the peace that i had....

You can fall for someone so completely and they could never feel the same. Just focus on what makes you feel happy....

How sad to know that when you feel love for someone the person does not feel a certain way the same.

I find this poem quite touching and motivating. I feel like you have sent me this poem personally. Thank you for sharing, I have always felt like somehow, everyone has a perfect or a great life, and I am just alone without friends. Thanks for the reminder.

Your poem is really nice but i think we have such a short life and if we waste it on just regretting and living in past, then we are doing wrong because every new day has its own speciality. So we should enjoy every moment of our enchanting life. Good read!

Your poem expresses the pain of letting go and reluctance to move forward after heartache. Many people can identify with this, past and present.

Always try to overcome, pain is never permanent, and A Bad Day's Filter Could Turn Around And Be Your Flourishing, we do not forget but we can all forgive and help ourselves in a permanent haling, life does go on.

      Thank you for sharing,

Unrequited love is hard; the pain consumes you in totality.

However, while it may seem hard, people can and do overcome it with some effort.

Yes, there is always one you cannot let go. Your mind constantly reminding you of the times you shared.

Hopefully God snd time will help, because it is not easy to let go.

      Good write.

Wanting to let go, but not wanting the pain. Been there! Your poem does justice to the dilemma.

So many love stories! Will be here for some time yet. Still, you tell them well.

Focusing on what truly makes us happy is good advice.

Indeed, a very touching poem. It's truly written from the heart. But there's actually never an end, it's actually a new and beautiful beginning to an amazing journey that lies ahead. So keep smiling and writing always. All the best!!
