Poem: STOP THE WAR.
While reading please play the video.
Flashes of sound,
Echoes of light,
Blinds my eyes,
And drowns my voice.
Bombs dropping somewhere near,
shards of metal, skins me bare.
I am standing naked and gaping.
Cries for help is every where, booming.
My heart is breaking into pieces so many,
spluttering the blood all around me.
Burning my core and numbing the pain
What wrong I did to gain this? Please tell me again.
I raise my hands towards the sky,
asking for answers, praying for mercy.
I am not a Christian, I am not a Jew.
I am not a Muslim, I am not a Hindu.
I am not from Israel, I am not a Palestinian.
I am not from Pakistan, I am not an Indian.
I am not from America , I am not an Afghan.
I am a child of lord who just wants to live his life.
I am the son of god who hates the war and crime.
I am the boy who is the future of this sphere.
I am whom you have to protect from this torture.
I am the one who should not surrender to an end so obscure .
You, but are busy to fight the war
You are busy to gain the power
You, who care less the loss of lives
You who dine well when the others die.
Stop the war.
Stop the killing.
Lives of Innocents are at your end receiving.
Don't make them cry for the fault that is not their's.
Let peace prevail.
Help to rebuild from the remains.
Have mercy on your fellow beings,
Drop your weapons, retrace your steps.
Please STOP THE WAR I request...
Say 'no more' to wars again
Let the peace prevail once and for all, till the end...
