Poem - The Crow's Elbow

Updated on April 28, 2012

driving along life

minding my own business

when crack

the crow's elbow

in the window

like a kick in the c*****s

it brings tears to the eyes

and costs something every time

leaving bills and wills

fluttering feather like in my wake

Ordinarily a crack of the crow's elbow

In the face

Is no big deal

It happens

Scares the shit out of you

The first time

Thereafter less and less

Depending on your disposition

On the child in your head

On the amount of black in your shadow

On your angle of reclination

Vis a vie life

..And love

.
