This is quite a difficult quiz - it is a quiz about quotes by famous people but although some of the quotes themselves are famous, the rest are not necessarily well known, so you will need to work hard.
Use your logical reasoning, hunch or gut feeling to work out who said them.
Then, if you would like to do so, tell us how you fared!
For Myself, I Do Love Mulling Over Quotations
I have The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations, a set of Charles Dickens first edition leatherbound books, several Shakespearean plays, as well as books by Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Oscar Wilde and numerous poetry books and plays, not to mention various philosophers, so I am not lost for wise sayings when I need to conjure up an idea.
Here's a Quotation Which I Found so Moving That I had it Pinned up on my Fridge for Several Years:
First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out - because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out - because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists and I did not speak out - because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Pastor Niemoeller (victim of the Nazis)
Sadly this warning is as relevant today as it would have been sixty years ago and that's a chilling thought.

As For Me, I Love Reading, and Am Often Inspired by Little Phrases I Have Found
I might find these in a book, or sometimes on the internet or on television. Sometimes I am so impressed that I even write them down in a special notebook I keep for the purpose. The outside cover is turquoise satin brocade with a Chinese design, so I get tactile and visual pleasure as soon as I pick it up, and then intellectual and emotional pleasure as soon as I remind myself of the contents.
Just to Wind up this Web Page, Here's a Bit of Fun With a Typical Quotation From Our Great Leaders
Said great leaders are prone to use such expressions as "We're all in this together", so I drew little cartoon faces on a box of mushrooms, to express this sentiment.
Here it is:
"We're All in This Together"

What Did You Think About the Quiz?
It was quite difficult, wasn't it? But never mind if you got a lot of them wrong, the main thing is:
Did you enjoy the quotations themselves? I tried to pick things with a profound meaning.
Did you learn something new? Did it make you think?
It's just nice to know who has been visiting.
