Review: Halo The Fall Of Reach
Discover More About Master Chief: Beyond The Games
Looking for a good book that will entice your kid to read a little more or maybe your fond of Halo video games. These Halo books are just the thing you need to show someone that they can enjoy reading (especially teens that play Halo). Or dive deeper into the story of Spartan 117 that you loved to play as in the Halo games. Halo: The Fall of Reach is the first and my favorite of this three book series.
The Fall of Reach and the two books after are very well written and have great detail of action sequences. You even get a view of the Covenant side from a grunts perspective (In the second book). Not only do they give you a new perspective of the characters in the Halo games, but you can actually see what John would of done in the spots the gamer is put into in the Halo games.
Main Character: John AKA Master Chief AKA Sierra/Spartan 117
John is the strong willed protagonist of the ongoing Halo series. He has gone through a lot, taking down the Covenant and Halo ring worlds. He has even fallen a couple of times. Luckily he survived, but he makes his own luck doesn't he. Reading The Fall of Reach book you will find how he became the spartan we all know. And, what made him so special.
In The Fall of Reach. You will also find out about other spartans including John's closest friends. How these kids were made to be spartans and why they were chosen. It even gives you a picture to imagine of how John looks under the Helmet.
Two More Books in the Series
Based off the first Halo game. GIves you details of all that John thinks about and even into the mind of an alien Grunt.
This book fills the gaps between the Halo 1 and Halo 2 games
Fan Made Trailer for a Fall of Reach Movie
If you haven't heard of the games this is a little taste of what the story is like. A pretty cool trailer made from the clips of the games and the one movie that is already out.
