Seeing Voices - An Original Poem by Christopher Dapo

Updated on March 30, 2012

If you heard

What I saw

Or you've seen

Where I've been

You might know

Where I'd go

But you still might

Wonder when

In the song

The lyrics write

There's a pause

The noise goes white

In that instance

If you fight

You can see it

And hear the voice's plight

They say silence is golden

If it's gold and they hear right

People and the words they hold in

Seeing voices that they hold tight

Impassioned in their prosecutions

Self-involved in their disillusions

Moved spirits in the silent night

See their voices and set things right.

It reminds me of Shakespeare: I see a voice, I hear a face. Interesting and thank you for sharing.
