Some Great Micheal Crichton Books

Updated on September 10, 2014

A great writer - Micheal Crichton

One of my favorite science fiction novel writers is Micheal Crichton. He seems to know so much about science and technology and weaves so much relevant fact into his stories that it makes reading an educational experience. Mr. Crichton died in 2008 at the age of 66 and the world lost an amazing story teller and visionary. He gave us great stories with cautionary endings that are meant to make us stop and think.

Mr. Crichton was a doctor before he became a writer and he brings his advanced knowledge to his stories with in depth explanations and educating material that will give you some insights into many areas of science. He was also witty and throws us some humor to add to our enjoyment. Although his books are easy and entertaining to read they are also sending some profound ideas to the reader with some wisdom and warnings about science run amok. He had some definite misgivings about greed and profit over running caution and ethics in our advancing technical world.

My Favorite Micheal Crichton Book

I never knew this book existed and found it quite by accident. It is by far one of my favorite books by the author as he shares his personal experiences and views as well as his travels. I never dreamed that Micheal Crichton was so complex and diverse in his views and I found this book to be an inspiration

Micro: A Novel

This was the last book Micheal Crichton was working on when he died. It had to be completed by writer Richard Preston but the novel is seamless and very well done. Be prepared to be amazed by a story line that will hold your interest from the first page to the last

You'll find it hard to put this book down once you start reading

Nano gone wild. No place is safe in a world of nano assassins

This is Micheal Crichton's own travel adventures and medical school experience shared with the reader along with some very insightful personal thoughts
