Superman versus the DC Comics Universe, the Marvel Comics Universe...and everybody else.
Superman, aka Clark Kent, is the eternal boyscout and an all around likeable guy. But just 'cuz he's a nice dude doesn't mean Supes won't get down and open a can of whupa$$ if the situation calls for it!
Come along on the Superman butt-kicking tour as we see Superman fight Doomsday, Superman vs Batman (his BFF), Superman against Wonder Woman (his GF??), Superman vs Shazam, Superman racing the Flash and by popular demand Superman vs the Hulk!
It's on like Donkey Kong!
Bring the Kryptonite. You're gonna need it.
Why create a page about Superman fighting everybody?
Because it's awesome. That's why.
As a little boy (and maybe even for some little tom-boyish girls), you always wonder "who would win" in a fight. Could a leopard beat a panther? Could my dog beat up the neighbor's dog? Could my sister, at 8 years old, beat up your little brother at 5 years old? What about Snoopy knocking the snot out of Garfield? It could happen.
Why do little boys think this way? I don't know. Something is obviously wrong with us. But it's still fun.
As we age, some of us little boys become big boys. We still long to know "who would win," only the participants in these imaginary fights seem to change. Could Superman clobber Thor? Could Batman take out Spidey? Could Captain America's shield break through Iron Man's armor? What about Stallone vs Schwarzenegger? And most importantly, could Kim Kardashian beat up Megan Fox (and preferably rip a little clothing in the process)?
Superman vs Doomsday
Doomsday vs Superman
Doomsday is an alien. Superman is an alien. Doomsday has super-strength. Superman has super-strength. Doomsday has bone protrusions that jut from his hands and he was evolved over years and years, becoming stronger with each new incarnation, for the sole purpose of destroying Superman. Superman...well, he's got a big ol "S" on his chest. Nah nah nuh boo boo.
Of all of Superman's foes, Doomsday is certainly his most challenging in terms of pure, raw strength. Doomsday is the one guy (I use that term loosely) that can actually say he "killed" Superman. Not even ol' Lexxy has that claim to fame. While Doomsday likely has the edge with power and raw savagery, Supes has the greater intellect and a whole buttload of Super-buddies in the Superfriends...er, I mean Justice League he can call for help. Take that, Doomsday. You don't have any friends and nobody likes you.
Doomsday gives Superman a run for his money, but eventually Kal El pulls out a win in this fight. Go Clark! Score one for Kansas.

Superman vs Batman
Batman vs Superman
Bruce Wayne is just a normal guy. Well, not normal. But a guy nonetheless. Superman, on the other hand, is an alien whose anatomy serves as a solar powered battery. Superman possesses powers far beyond that of normal humans and in many cases he surpasses super-powered peeps as well. So how could this ever be considered a fair fight? Superman could fart and kill Batman. (What, you think his farts aren't "super" too?)
One of Batman's most dangerous weapons is his mind. Batman does not fight fair. He will study his opponents and exploit their weaknesses. He might even pull some hair and poke a brother in the eye. What up with that??
If by chance Superman happened to catch Batman unaware, he would likely take out the caped crusader. But if Batman knew it was coming and had time to prepare, no contest. That sneaky little Bat-freak would take out the big blue boyscout and leave him crying like a little girl with a broken lollipop. Snap.

Superman vs Lex Luthor
Superman vs Luthor, Lex Luthor vs Superman
Lex Luthor is one of the most evil criminal masterminds on the planet. He possesses a deep hatred for the last son of Krypton and will stop at nothing to see his downfall. With all of that bitterness and hostility brewing under the surface, it's no wonder Rogaine ain't cuttin' it.
Lex constructed a powerful mechanized battlesuit to help him destroy Superman. Double L must have taken a cue from the Hulk, what with that funky green and purple color scheme.
While Luthor's armor is certainly formidable, this is the Man of Steel we're talking about here. Unless Lex is packing some Kryptonite (which he seems to do on the regular), this fight won't last long. Heck, Supes could take him out from a distance with his heat vision before the fight even began. Wouldn't that set off little chrome dome? Oh well. Suck it, Lex.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Xbox 360 - Mortal Kombat Xbox 360
If you're a fan of either the Mortal Kombat franchise or DC Comics superheroes (or both like me), you will absolutely love this game. I bought it when it was first released at $60 so you've got the chance to get a great deal on this title now that it has been out for a while.
You can play as all of the familiar MK characters with all new moves and combos. It's great fun to see DC characters such as Superman, Captain Marvel, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, etc. mix it up with the Mortal Kombat fighters. What really makes this title stand out is the in-depth storyline. Play through the story from the perspective of either the DC Heroes or the MK characters.
This game is a blast to play and will bring you hours of enjoyment. Highly recommended.
Superman vs Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali vs Superman
Okay, so I haven't read the Superman vs Muhammad Ali comic book (see below) but I'm assuming it probably went down something like this: fate slaps Superman upside the head and he temporarily loses his powers. Muhammad Ali, in his eternal quest to prove he is the Greatest of All Time, challenges the powerless Superman to a duel. Er, boxing match. Sound about right? You know it.
A powerless Superman would lose to Muhammad Ali in a fair boxing fight without a doubt. You know, Ali would get all rope-a-dope and whatnot. However, if Superman was in his normal state of all-kinds-of-awesome-poweredness, he could take this fight so quickly that Ali would then be forced to refer to himself as "the Second Greatest of All Time." And that would just suck.

Superman vs Thor
Thor vs Superman
Thor, son of Odin and the God of Thunder. Thor possesses the ability to summon lightning and control the weather. His weapon of choice is the mighty Mjolinir, a bada$$ hammer crafted by his father Odin which can be hurled at an opponent and also used to help Thor fly.
Thor is a God while Superman is an alien. Thor possesses a weapon (his hammer) while Superman's body contains weapons (heat vision, freeze breath, etc.). These 2 combatants are very even matched in terms of strength and fighting prowess.
A battle between Superman and Thor would last for hours and hours. Eventually, the 2 would realize that they are too evenly matched and reluctantly cease fighting. This match would be a draw with no clear winner in sight.

Superman vs Hulk
Hulk vs Superman
This is one of those classic battles that divides comic geeks similar to the "Hulk vs Thing" debate. You might even see some fanboys come to blows arguing this one. Hey, it could happen. Just check out Jason Lee in Mallrats.
Superman may be one of the most powerful men in the universe, but the Hulk possesses the one power that Superman does not: the ability to get stronger as he gets madder. And the Hulk is a pretty mad guy.
This fight would be very close in the beginning with Superman having a slight edge given his superior intellect. But eventually as the Hulk's strength builds as a result of his anger from the heated battle, the Hulk overpowers Superman and ultimately triumphs.

Superman vs Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman vs Superman
Superman is a nice guy. He won't fight dirty, but don't let that friendly demeanor fool you--he's a skilled fighter. Wonder Woman was bred on Themyscira to be a pure warrior. Diana is as deadly as she is beautiful.
Superman is slightly faster than Wonder Woman. Superman is slightly stronger. Superman has more powers. While Wonder Woman may be more technically skilled as a result of her Amazonian training, Superman ultimately has the edge he needs to be the victor over the Amazon Princess.
One can only hope that at some point in the battle there is a strategic costume malfunction...schwing!

Superman vs Goku
Goku vs Superman
This is probably going to upset the Dragonball fans, but c'mon. Goku? Really?
Yes, Goku has some creative powers. Yes, he is a master of martial arts. And yes, his hair is really, really spiky.
Superman would lay his effiminate arse out flat. Ya dig? 'Nuff said.
