Terror She Knows Me

Updated on November 28, 2011

There are a few times in life and people who share it who know what it is to be affraid in ways that say more about life then themselves. I thought it would be worthwhile to explore this subject a bit. I like, in my writing to paint pictures with words and sometimes dabble in word play but I strive never to waist words if I can help it. To date I have always been able to help it. Enjoy.

Tis night

The sun calls me a fibber

But the time of day

Speaks nothing about the grey

Doesn't effect or affect the black

And cannot touch the words

Unspoken

Splat, squish

Crawl

Rattittattat

Screaming, piercing

Blaming me

The world but mostly me

Not feeling absolution

Who shall absolve me?

Nothing blames me but those

Silent to the living

But not to me

Locked into an eternal night

Ironically holding out

For hope springs eternal

For one not quite dead yet.

And what I hope for

I cannot yet decide

So I keep hoping.

Beautiful flowing poetry Jaggedfrost. I find this a hopeful piece, even with the pain and blame. I hit many buttons.

Peace. Do you hope for peace from all the blaming? Do you blame yourself? No one else has the right to, and you don't need to.

Amazing writing. Very succinct. I admire your style, but even more the content.

      Thank you.
