Testament Road

By: Wayne Brown

Which way you turn,

What way you learn,

It really does not matter

So many forks in Testament Road

To that I can attest

Which way is up,

Which way is down,

It really does not matter

All Angels will fly home to Heaven

To that I can attest

Which way you look,

Which way you see,

It really does not matter

Non-believers will be stone blind

To that I can attest

Which way you think,

Which way you feel,

It really does not matter

Emotions bring tears but not salvation

To that I can attest

Which way you say,

Which way you speak

It really does not matter

Prayer is the Path to God

To that I can attest

Which way is truth,

Which way is lies,

It really does not matter

Trust in Him and He will trust in you

To that I can attest

Which way of war,

Which way of peace

It really does not matter

Peace will come; and so will War

To that I can attest

Which way is love,

Which way is hate,

It really does not matter

Love will conquer; never Hate

To that I can attest

Which way of life

Which way of death

It really does not matter

Death is certain as so with taxes

To that I can attest

Which way to hell,

Which way to eternity,

It really does not matter

The graveyards are full of hopefuls

To that I can attest

You certainly got a hold of poetry Wayne. Pretty good at it too.

'Emotions bring tears but not salvation' there's a lesson in that line.

With the way you write this is one testament road that I am willing to travel.

Also you are a man's man - a ladies' man - and a man for all seasons - and no the flowers do not die when you enter the room - the ladies all bring fresh ones to you!!!!
