That is me
From the stress of your soul;
I have seen you become cold.
What chance would you give to have life?
Your glorious mistake rained from hate.
You let life grow numb in your shame.
I see so much pain in your name.
I feel you near in hope as my friend.
Truth is in the stem of your soul.
You have a life changing heart.
But your guilt makes you feel your mistakes.
My friend, I can’t hold you from shame.
I can reason your heart to make it amends.
I will show your ways away from sorrow between sins.
That curls your heart in shame in pins of guilt.
I will call you to deny your guilty pins.
I will hasten your wisdom to avoid guilty pins.
I will look upon your days with love in friendship.
Like a flower upon my garden of plentiful friends.
I will be the cape that covers you from hurt.
Like a strong soul I will be with you.
I will keep you well enough in joy.
Don’t be hard in your heart to believe me as a friend.
I am a pond that knows your teardrops flowing down your cheeks.
Otherwise why would you call me friend?
In your stress,
I will cheer up many of your smiles.
I am the white light that colors your days in peace.
Little cups of hate fill my plate’s core.
I am too human to handle portions of love.
But I like to penetrate all boundaries of your hate.
I hope to find you somewhere hidden by love.
Such a dream of love wakes my heart.
My heart becomes a better friend.
A distant light glows your dark life.
That is me as a friend in your dark.
