Interesting Old Vintage Books
Beautiful Old Vintage Books
I love old books and I love the illustrations that are in these stories, some of them are absolutely amazing. Some of the more outstanding ones are presented here. They are truly works of art and something to be appreciated. I've handpicked each one. I haven't included any children's books here because I have another page of vintage children's illustrations, dedicated solely to displaying old children's books.
I've included a sampling of the pictures in the story as well. If you click on the large image you can view it in its entirety. These books are in the public domain and you are free to use the images and text from the books however you want, but always confirm this before using them as the copyright laws vary from country to country. The photo to the left here is just one of many of the beautiful drawings in an old catalogue of cigar box labels.
