The Feel of Your Touch

Updated on January 31, 2017

THE FEEL OF YOUR TOUCH

Rusted Leaves

Crackle

In the autumn breeze

And with every ageing day

Stronger becomes

The stench

Of rotting time..

Suddenly descends a hush

All possibilities vanish

And I

Float to a far end

Where messages don't reach

(Some sort of Infinity)

I look back again

The feel of your touch

Is all that remains
