Books for Girls ages 8-12
Do you have a special little girl in the 8-12 year old age group who loves to read? My granddaughter, Rachel is 9 and she loves to read. I asked her what her favorite books were and she came out with tons of books. I noticed many of them come in a series of books with the same characters. Ramona is a funny book with life-like stories of her adventures in her family. Rachel says to be sure to read the book before you see the Ramona movie.
Dork Diaries Boxed Set
Rachel really enjoyed reading the adventures of Nikki Maxwell in middle school. She gets in to all kinds of situations with her friends and sometimes is a real drama queen.

Rachel really enjoys these mysteries about the boxcar children. She always wants to read the next chapter to figure out the mystery.
