Top Selling Books For Dummies
The History Of The For Dummies Series Of Books
The For Dummies book series began in 1991 with DOS for Dummies, written by Dan Gookin and published by IDG Books. The book became popular because there was a lack of beginner-friendly information on using DOS. While in the beginning the series focused on software and technology topics, it branched out to more general titles. The series is now published by John Wiley & Sons, which acquired Hungry Minds (the new name for IDG Books as of 2000) in early 2001. This lens will focus on some of the most popular and best selling books in this series which has a wide range of topics from hobbies, computers, sewing, music and just about any subject that can be conceived. If you need one of these books, I hope you will consider purchasing it through one of these links to Amazon where you can get a great deal on all subjects. Thank you.
