Started out to be the Top 50 Daily Wisdom books and ended up being over that. I have personally read each of the 'featured' books and used them as daily readers. The additional items (from each author) I have read at least 70% of them and recommend others from authors I enjoy the most.
These make amazing inspirational gifts! But, the gift will mean more if the recipient has told you about a challenge they have. In other words... Don't buy "How to overcome this or that challenge" for someone if they haven't told you they have the challenge. As you might guess, doing so might make them think you are judging them.

Habits are for adopting. What habits have you adopted into your life?
I didn't realize how often I was reacting to moments in life based on habit. As each of these habits begin to be revealed to me I am better able to make a conscience decision to stop. But, when I remove something I create room for something else. To ensure I will not simply pick up another 'habit' without actually choosing it I believe it works best for me to choose a few habits which will benefit my overall response to moments in life.
Would you consider looking at some proven, inspired, and successful habits?
This was a difficult question to answer at first. I had a few questions of my own. For example:
- Who proved this?
- Is this 'inspiration' real or imagined?
- Who defined success here?
Yes. I am resistant. The answer to these questions is an individual one. I would only suggest we each ask, experience, and ask again. When we find what works... that is our best fit.
I loved both of the prequels to this! So having a handbook of mini-reminders is amazing.

I would like to conclude with a thought.
Over the years I have often discovered books and thought of a loved one who would find it of value to them. I would suggest that when you have a heart reaction and want to provide a resource to someone do three things:
- Buy the book (follow your intuition)
- Wait before you give it until the person has declared they might have a habit they want to recover from. No one else can choose, judge, or convince another.
- Be open to the possibility you will discover that book is exactly right for an entirely different person.
Be well. Nurture your creativity. Take one day at a time.
