An Ode to Forums

Updated on February 24, 2012

Reality can seem so far away
As the night melts into day
Sea of lost souls and strange faces
Searching blindly in stranger places
Mirror image of a shattered dream
Fleeting thoughts while silence screams
Surrounding darkness or blinding light
One man's easy gain is another man's fight
A picture painted in your mind
Can seem so clear but fades with time
The dreamer finds hope in his dreams
While the schemer becomes twisted by his schemes
A world without conscience is a world full of strife
Truth where there's lies cuts like a knife
