What Are You Waiting For? - Poems of Waiting

Updated on October 15, 2014

What Are You Waiting For?

In this hub we'll take a look at the subject of Waiting via my Original Poetry.

Along the way, I also suggest a few books on the subject of waiting. I hope you enjoy reading!

Let Not Life Pass You By

Let not life pass you by

While waiting for the wings to fly

Seize the small things that you can

And have a practical game plan

What are You Waiting For?

Though Patience is a Virtue

Though patience is a virtue

Keep busy while you wait

Complete something useful and you

Will feel good or even great

Could be what you're waiting for

Is no longer of import

You may have found another door

That leads to a more pleasing sport

See That Man

See that man on the bench over there?

He's waiting for the One in his dream

To sit near, but not touching; please don't stare

His yearning is exactly as it would seem

Are You a Procrastinator

Are You a Procrastinator?

See results

Are You Waiting For Something?

Something to Happen ?

Make Something Happen !

Opportunities sometimes arrive out of the blue

But, more often, there's work you must do

For an opportunity to come into view

"Waiting" the movie

Into Your Lap

What if a treasure fell into your lap

Sufficient to end all your cares

To pay the big bills and exit the trap

And reverse the grey in your hairs

Well, that would certainly be nice

But waiting for treasure's not fun

Keep working and playing is my advice

Just smell some roses when day's work is done

What're You Waiting For?

Thanks so Much for Your Visit
