What is Christmas?

Updated on December 27, 2014

The Real Meaning of Christmas

In a world of hypocrites, Christmas is celebrated as if it was a special holiday.

People exchange gifts.

The stores have a lot of work. They make many sales. They prove that our salvation was real.

Christmas is a big deal.

Jesus came to our world in order to make us rest for a while, far from our tiring routine and its mess.

In a world ruled by terrorism, violence, immorality, hypocrisy and greed, we live in order to escape from pain and relax, however we can.

Jesus came to our world because at His time the internet didn't exist yet. He couldn't even send us a fax. His presence was indispensable.

He is supposedly God's son, our Lord. However, this mystery is somehow incomprehensible.

This is why our historical time is characterized by atheism and materialism.

Sometimes we pretend to believe in God, but only when we are in trouble.

Sometimes we even go to Church; but only if this is convenient for many reasons. Otherwise, we cannot waste our time with occupations that are not profitable or enjoyable in any way. Our time has a cost.

We live in order to make money, so that we may spend money.

Without money, there is no life.

Those who have no money are simply starving.

However, this topic is quite unpleasant.

Let's talk about Christmas trees and Christmas songs.

Let's forget what cannot be changed because we are too indifferent and too lazy.

Let's drink more wine.

Let's pretend that everything is fine, even though our world is so crazy.

By the way, why should we celebrate Christmas?

On Christmas we celebrate Jesus Christ's birthday because He is our savior.

We make many plans.

We eat, we laugh, and we drink Champagne.

In a world of hypocrites, Christmas fits with futility, marketing, and many other aspects that are quite far from religion. This is an obvious conclusion. Everyone has this vision. However, nobody cares about the existence of a certain contradiction somewhere.

I'm here in order to talk about the real meaning of Christmas. This introduction was merely a description of what our current civilization believes.

In a world of actors and thieves, Christmas became a game influenced by many factors.

I'm here in order to blame those who distorted the meaning of a big sacrifice. The Messiah came to our world in order to correct our mistakes and give us new life.

Instead of celebrating His arrival with indifference and joy, we should cry.

Jesus came to our world in order to die.

He knew that He would be betrayed by the ridiculous creatures He was trying to save.

He had to be brave.

He knew that we would treat our savior as if He was our slave.

However, He accepted His arduous mission.

He accepted to live and die in our living hell in order to teach us how to forgive, how to share our bread, how to care about human suffering, how to give to others what we have, how to bear our pain, how to work, how to wait, how to respect, how to show compassion, how to regret, and how to evolve.

Unfortunately, nobody paid attention to His lessons.

His sacrifice was annulated by our laziness and indifference.

Everybody already forgot His existence.

Even though many repeat His words, nobody understands the meaning of His teachings. Many impostors pretend to follow His example, but they are far from wisdom and sanity. Nobody knows the meaning of sanctity.

Jesus Christ is merely a known personality in the long human history. His name is somewhere in this list.

He was a king, but He didn't live on luxury. He had to give us many lessons into practice.

He had to teach us with His own example how to accept suffering without using violence. Otherwise, we would never understand His guidance.

This is why Jesus Christ, our king and Lord, came to Earth like a prisoner, and not like a boss.

I hope to see you crying when you'll remember His cross.

I celebrate with my heart that our Savior was born, for the purpose to die for our sins and the forgiveness of sins in His name. Accepting Christ gives us eternal life, as there is no death, just a separation of body and soul...till He comes again...Death is a separation from God.

Christ came straight from God, no prior incarnations, like Krishna for instance or the Buddha both came to teach how to release the programming. Christ came during a time when the world's consciousness calibrated very low - not many folks could hear him without wanting to kill him. But, the folks who heard him heard him quite well, all things considered. He did a beautiful job of raising the sea. He did not die in agony, he was not forsaken by our Father but embraced back into His arms. My tears for Christ are tears of Joy, Honor and Gratitude.
